Honeycomb wire for beekeeping

Honeycomb wire is a flexible stainless steel wire used in beekeeping and apiculture for stringing bee frames.

The honeycomb wire from our range is a stainless steel wire (V2A and V4A), which is ideally suited for steaming due to its non-rusting properties. The wire can also be used in combination with lyes.

The honeycomb wire we offer is food-safe, as it has no odour or taste effect on food products. However, please note our information on the use of stainless steel wire in connection with food.

Area of application of honeycomb wire

Honeycomb wire is used to wire frames and is thus a product that is typically employed in beekeeping. With the stainless steel wires offered here, solid wiring (both vertically and horizontally) of new frames to be strung is ensured by the tensile strength of the material. In addition, these stainless steel wires are less susceptible to weathering.
