In addition to the standard V2A and V4A stainless steel wires, our shop also offers materials 1.4016, 1.4571, 1.4597, 1.4841 and 1.4845 in various versions.
Stainless steel wire 1.4016 (AISI 430) is a ferritic wire with a comparatively high iron content. This wire is well suited for bending, but is less suitable for welding than other wires in our range.
Stainless steel wire 1.4571 (AISI 316Ti) is a titanium-stabilised V4A steel with added molybdenum. This wire has excellent corrosion resistance, offers good weldability and is resistant to intergranular corrosion.
Stainless steel wire 1.4597 (AISI 204Cu) is similar to the popular material 1.4301, but has a higher copper and manganese content. This material can also be used for welding and is resistant to corrosion and stress cracks.
The properties of stainless steel wires 1.4841 (AISI 314) and 1.4845 (AISI 310S) include good heat resistance. Both materials are therefore suitable for forging and welding.
