In addition to the classic V2A and V4A stainless steel wires, we also offer the materials 1.4016 (AISI 430), 1.4841 (AISI 314) and 1.4845 (AISI 310S) in various versions in our shop.

The stainless steel wire 1.4016 is a ferritic wire that has a comparatively high iron content. This wire is well suited for bending, but it can be used less well for welding than other wires in our range.

The properties of the stainless steel wires 1.4841 and 1.4845 include their good heat resistance. Both materials are therefore suitable for forging and welding. Further information and notes on welding can be found in the data sheets linked below.
